Winston Downs is a small (550 homes), walkable east-Denver neighborhood featuring a variety of home styles on large lots and a high-performing neighborhood school (The Denver Green School). Winston Downs makes an easy commute to and from Downtown, Denver Tech Center, Lowry, Stapleton, and Aurora. You’re minutes from the best shopping in Colorado: The Cherry Creek Business District, The Cherry Creek Shopping Mall, terrific dining, Whole Foods, a JW Marriott to name a few.

DGSThe Denver Green School: Our new DPS Innovation School, opened in fall of 2010, and is an exciting addition to Winston Downs. Specializing in project-based learning with a strong core curriculum, DGS was named a “Best Practices” Innovation School by DPS.

Featuring on of Denver’s flagship International Baccalaureate Diploma programs, its goal is to provide its students with an excellent education, while inspiring them to reach their highest potentials. George Washington Homeowners Association (GWHOA) is our all-volunteer neighborhood HOA. Dues are $15/yr and fund a variety of activities and services: an informative quarterly newsletter, a variety of social and outreach activities, as well as some occasional support for worthy local projects. They maintain an up-to-date website featuring current events of importance to the neighborhood, archives of GWHOA meeting minutes, newsletters, etc. Check out their site!
