Denver Jazz Duo

Jazz Duo with David Halterman, piano

From sultry ballads to swinging standards, duos have always had a place in jazz. Jazz legends including Dizzy Gilespie, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie would frequently team up with another musician to form a duo. Found in virtually every genre of jazz music, duo ensembles can play classic jazz, Dixieland jazz, swing or fusion. A jazz duo is an affordable option when you have a smaller event, a limited budget, or want to staff a 'steady' gig like a club or restaurant.

We had fun here creating a Jazz Duo that sounds like a quartet. Teaming up with local Tenor legend Jack LaForte, and using "intelligent" digital technology for the bass and drums, this is a BIG sounding duo.
Yes, we can provide this live at your event!
